Join us as a

Sales & Fulfilment Manager (New Installations & Modernisation) 

Main responsibilities:

This role holder will actively manage their respective team to ensure that project outputs are being delivered on schedule, to budget and to the required quality, all in alignment with contractual commitments, and terms and conditions. They will also be experts in communication and set examples to all team members in areas of personal character, commitment, organisational and installation skills, and work habits. 

 

People Management
•    Ensure long term development of team capabilities through systematic and effective individual development plans. 
•    Drive the adoption of Schindler core values as well as a high-performance culture
•    Lead & ensure the adoption of people & product safety standards by all team members on all projects
•    Lead and ensure the adoption of the quality KPIs by all team members on all projects
•    Actively manage, develop and train the team to meet the objectives of quality, productivity, efficiency and customer orientation. 
•    Lead the team by providing clear expectations and standards, delegating responsibilities, and holding employees accountable, recognising employee achievements, and addressing performance gaps and fostering team commitment.
•    Lead a team of project managers and/or field managers to deliver NI/MOD projects –from design through to installation and handover 
•    Prepare the budgeting process, maintaining monthly revenue & profitability forecast and mitigate deviations from budget.
•    Lead the team in project reviews to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and time schedules, taking mitigating measures when required
•    Lead the team to maximise project profitability, by managing a detailed and thorough variation/change order process
•    Develop and maintain a capacity/labour allocation plan to deliver the business efficiently. 
•    Collaborate and work closely with subcontractor management & procurement to identify & implement cost savings in the projects supply chain

 

Sales Leadership
•    Lead and support sales negotiations, including the development of sales proposals in line with group using Schindler sales guidelines, tools, approved processes
•    Review with Senior Management Team sales performance and market progress as well as challenges, and propose corrective actions
•    Monitor sales KPIs: bid/hit-rates, won/lost-analysis, discounts and pricing analysis, benchmarks, competition, market share etc, to ensure optimal performance.

 

Customer Orientation

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers: main contractors & developers.
  • Identify and pursue major potential customers to drive and support strategic growth objectives
 

•    Educated to Degree level or equivalent (Engineering degree preferred)
•    Knowledge of SAP reporting functions 
•    Full understanding and proven adherence to FF+ 
•    Track record of developing new processes to improve business issues
•    Experience in training and coaching others in an engaging and efficient manner
•    Ability to manage a team and to work within a team framework
•    Thorough knowledge of design and construction processes
•    Project management/supervision, commercial, technical and installation background with ability to translate specification & construction issues into workable solutions
•    3–5 years’ Site management experience (desired)
•    Reasoning and problem-solving skills – with ability to think laterally
•    Proven Project Management experience
•    Proficient in MS Office and MS Project
