Commercial Deployment Manager (m/f/d)

Schindler is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Commercial Deployment Manager to manage commercial implementation of new digital products and services. The position is based in Berlin. A Commercial Deployment Manager assumes responsibility for managing deployment playbooks and making sure that the sequence of events during a release process are run properly. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years or more experience in driving deployment projects and go-to-market activities from Global to Country Operations. Schindler is looking for an individual who enjoys working interdisciplinary amongst Product Management, Fulfillment and Country Operations. Deployment Managers thrive in ambiguity. Rather than trying to walk in with answers, your default mode of operation is to begin with questions in pursuit of truth, value, and meaningful impact. You react quickly to new stimuli, and you don't equate pivoting with failing.

 

In your role as Commercial Deployment Manager you have OWNERSHIP for the following subjects:

 

Excellence in delivery:

  • Steer the creation of the documents at the different quality gates of the Schindler Product Creation Process
  • Develop Go-to-Market plans for new product roll-outs and coordinate them with the global Zones and various Country Operations; at the same time align with the global Fulfillment the Product Introduction Process
  • Actively seek feedback from the Zones and Country Operations and ensure continuous improvement of standard processes e.g. Product Creation, Deployment and Change
  • Setup internal processes and tools in the context of product deployment - e.g. the SAP tool for contract management
  • Ensure long-term support by the Control Center - enable “switch from BUILD to RUN”
  • Execute and coordinate stakeholders during the development and deployment phase of new products and services
  • Monitor and support Zone and Country Operations to successfully implement resp. launch new products or services

 

Drive value for Schindler Digital Group clients:

  • Work with Country Operations to understand their key business objectives and provide insight as to how deploy the digital product or service
  • Develop and plan training activities to ensure a sustainable deployment within countries

 

Serve as a trusted advisor:

  • Establish role as client’s go-to resource for knowledge about Schindler digital products as well as customer engagement best practices and solutions
  • Act as customer advocate internally; bringing intelligent product feedback and recommendations from clients and users back to the Digital Product team
  • Identify root cause for deployment-related downtime and participate in after-action reviews for production deployment activities 

 

Mobility needs you

  • Degree in Business Administration or similar, technical background a plus 5-7 years’ experience in the preparation and execution of new product or project implementations in countries in the B2B environment
  • Experience in cross-functional teamwork
  • Extensive Project Management experience
  • Experience in the XaaS ‘environment’ in the fields of product management, marketing or sales; good understanding about XaaS trends and market developments – specifics in sales
  • Excellent understanding of B2B Sales and Pricing specifics
  • Open minded with a good understanding of cultural and business etiquette
  • Understanding of SAP principles and processes
  • Proven track record defining and implementing technology-based offerings
  • Strong personality with a creative and convincing supporting attitude
  • Structured and systematic way of working
  • Self-motivated, result oriented, independent
  • Culturally sensitive
  • Team player and supporting attitude
  • Ability to influence and engage different stakeholders
  • Solid command of written and verbal English
  • Knowledge of additional languages a plus
