In this role you are part of a strong and fast-growing international innovation team called Global Reporting Solutions (GRS) which is fully embedded in our Global Finance organization with the goal to bring business critical information with just a few clicks to our business management.

Our team has hubs in Ebikon (Switzerland) and Madrid (Spain).

 

As a Product Owner (PO) of the new Group Reporting App on Power BI, you are responsible for the strategy, design and build of our reporting solutions and services from their conception to adoption. Furthermore, you coordinate the seamless transition from the legacy to the new reporting solution.

 

Other challenges include:

  • Collaborate with the target user community to understand, anticipate, and translate their needs into product backlog for Global BI solutions mainly the new Group Reporting App and future new global BI solutions and services.

  • Defining the vision, creating road map and continuously prioritizing backlog of these solutions and services.

  • Refining the backlog with your team by designing and requirement engineering.

  • Reviewing and testing work packages iteratively with your team and with users to ensure adoption.

  • Refining and managing the governance model for Data as a Service and Self-Service Reporting.

  • Enabling your international team to master agile collaboration and delivery to continuously ship excellent products and services.

  • Lead and inspire your international team that constitutes of requirement engineers, data modelers, developers, and testers, so that they may master agile delivery to continuously ship excellent products and services.

You are a people-minded technologist, who is passionate about analytics and reporting, an experienced product owner, solid problem-solver, with proven ability to operate and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while meeting our high-quality standards.

 

Further requirements include:

  • Master’s degree in Business or Engineering.

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience as a management consultant, and/or product owner in a multinational company.

  • Prior experience in defining and implementing Data as a Service (DaaS) and Self-Service reporting strategies ideally with Power BI. Familiar with Microsoft Azure solutions.

  • Agile project management experience with an ability to keep eyes on the big picture while working on the details.

  • Profound understanding of core SAP processes (e.g. FICO, SD, Contracts) in a globally operating manufacturing company and experience with KPI and value driver definition.

  • Fluency in English
