Our PORT ecosystem is a key element of Schindler’s ambition to be the leading provider of seamless indoor mobility solutions. As Lead Cloud Software Architect you will interface between various internal stakeholders as well as internal and external development teams.
Your key challenges will include:

Drive and ensure future-proven software architecture for the on-premise and cloud components of the PORT ecosystem

Identify architecturally significant requirements and shape architecture vision and technology roadmap

Develop a set of private and public APIs
-
Interact with product owners and development teams in terms of software architectural decisions (cloud, mobile app, embedded software, network communication)

Coach Technical Competence Center & Integrators on effective usage of provided APIs

Further requirements include:

Master’s degree in computer science and/or software development

Excellent system and software architecture design skills and evaluation of on-premise and cloud solutions

Excellent knowledge of cloud-based infrastructures and technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure) with strong software engineering capabilities for .NET & Python / Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus

Expertise with API management solutions and in building API development kits

Experience with authentication protocols such as OAuth and public-key cryptography

Knowledge of docker container orchestration

Quick learner, open-minded for new technologies and a generator of innovative ideas

Ability to work with multicultural and multidisciplinary teams
