Ride Quality Principal Engineer (m/f/d) 80-100%

 

We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

In this role as Ride Quality Principal Engineer, you create value through ensuring the technical development and application of model and simulation-based tools for the development of new components and systems for our global elevator business.

 

Your new challenges include:

  • Leading Ride Quality related topics for a global expert community 

  • Analyzing, developing, testing, implementing, and verifying new components or systems in the product development/maintenance of elevators.

  • Provide expert support to R&D organization, Business organizations and External Consultants in the Elevator Business.

  • Evaluating, and demonstrating market/customer requirements or new concepts to prepare requirements for design, procedures, or acceptance criteria for verification and validation specifications.

  • Developing, verifying, and validating prediction models and methods that result in tools with automation, enabling simulation-based engineering of elevator components and systems.

  • Defining, implementing, and maintaining interfaces/prediction models between different component areas of an elevator system from a ride quality perspective.

  • Providing ride quality expert solutions and consulting to the R&D organization and business units in the elevator industry.

Further requirements may include:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Proven experience with technical leadership and project management 

  • Extensive knowledge of acoustics, noise and vibration engineering and familiarity with related tools

  • Capable of working independently in a global envoirment, effective time management and daily tasks prioritization

  • Fluency in English
