We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

The Ride Quality Engineer creates value through ensuring the technical development and application of model and simulation-based tools for the development of new components and systems for the global elevator business.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyze, develop, test, implement and verify new components or systems in the product development / maintenance of Elevator business.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and demonstrate market / customer requirements / new concepts to prepare requirements for Design, Procedure / acceptance criteria for Verification and Validation specifications.
  • Develop, verify and validate prediction models, methods which result in tools with automation enabling a simulation-based engineering of elevator components and systems.
  • Define, implement, and maintain the interfaces / prediction models between different component areas of an elevator system from a Ride Quality perspective.
  • Provide Ride Quality expert solutions / consulting to the R&D organization and Business organizations in Elevator Business

 Further requirements may include:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Relevant Experience in Acoustics, Noise and Vibration and familiarity with related tools
  • Able to work unsupervised, managing your time and balancing your day-to-day priorities and commitments
  • Quick learner, open minded for new technologies and a generator of innovative ideas
  • Fluency in English
