We Elevate... Your Responsibilities
The Global Sustainability Office (GSO) acts as a strategic lead and facilitator to embed sustainability into the entire organisation. GSO defines the vision and strategy for ESG, drives and coordinates initiatives, and reports on progress and impact.
You are responsible for driving, monitoring and coordinating key sustainability actions for commercialization and engagement with zone and country organizations and across the priorities of Schindler’s 2030 Sustainability Roadmap.
Some of your exciting challenges include:

Steer sustainability commercialization & engagement actions across the different Schindler geographical zones:

Supporting senior management with target/action roll-out and discuss performance
-
Maintaining regular exchange with sustainability managers of zone
-
Coordinating actions with sustainability managers of zone and country
-
Informing relevant internal stakeholders on Schindler Group sustainability matters
-
Managing requests and communication to and from Global Sustainability Office
-

Contributing to sustainability strategy related to commercialization and engagement

Developing and coordinating internal projects for sustainability commercialization and engagement (e.g. develop and conduct internal trainings)

Working cross functionally with key stakeholders responsible for products, services and sales

Supporting the management of a cross-functional sustainability community
- Adding hoc research on selected sustainability topics including benchmark analysis

Further requirements may include:

Excellent knowledge of sustainability matters, including going to market and communication strategies, reporting standards and willingness to learn self-educate

Relevant experience handling and coordinating across different seniority levels (incl. top management) and international matrix organizations in regard to sustainability

Proven experience in a similar position or in a consultant position

Strong communication and project management skills and at ease with IT tools
- Working proficiency in English
