What you can expect from us:
As part of the group sustainability office, you will play a key role in advancing our sustainability reporting agenda. You will be able to work across all sustainability reporting initiatives at Schindler.
Some of your exciting challenges include:
- Adoption of new sustainability reporting requirements (e.g., CSRD, EU Taxonomy, ISSB), from gap analysis to implementation and reporting
- Coordination of global data collection across business functions and Group companies and take leading role in the annual assurance process
- Assessment and quantification sustainability-related impacts, risks and opportunities. Enhancement and execution of climate-related scenario analyses and financial impact quantification for climate-related risks and opportunities
- Development of narratives and recommendations for senior management and leadership to integrate sustainability considerations into strategic decision-making processes
- Improvement of internal sustainability performance management, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluating data availability, and monitoring performance
- Lead the response to relevant sustainability questionnaires, such as CDP and EcoVadis
- Collaborate with the financial reporting team to improve and automate the nonfinancial reporting process
- Stay informed on best practices in sustainability reporting
What makes you special:

Further requirements may include:
- University studies in sustainability management, environmental engineering or economics
- At least 5 years of experience in sustainability reporting across regulatory requirements (e.g. CSRD, EU Taxonomy, ISSB, Swiss Code of Obligations and Swiss Climate Ordinance) and sustainability reporting standards (e.g. GRI, SASB, TCFD)
- Excellent knowledge in climate and sustainability reporting and willingness to learn and constantly self-educate
- Proven experience in a similar position or in a consulting role
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a global environment
- Proactive with the ability and confidence to use initiative
- Ability to work in an international environment
- Proficiency in English, other language is a plus
