Claim and Change Notice Scheduler

Mobility is the goal

Responsible to maintain order fulfillment of field claim and change notice requests. Supports all SAP programs that populate individual scheduling platforms for Supply Chain Operations and external suppliers. Works directly with Customer Service team, KW operations / outbound logistics, OCC operations / outbound logistics, external suppliers and NI Field Operations to supply fulfillment details or order placement and delivery.

 

Job Duties:

  • Manages priority and FPY of order entry schedule for field claims, RPO claims and all change notice requests.
  • Includes stock material, make to order material and vendor direct shipment.
  • Works with Application Engineering and Material Planning on order entry completeness.   LT and Config data.
  • Communicates daily with KW and OCC on order entry conversion of production orders.
  • Follow up with Material Planning with purchase order creation completeness.
  • Creates purchase orders as needed for order fulfillment. 
  • Responsible for metric data correctness and communication to all operations.   Metric Tracking and PowerBI.
  • Communicates daily with Customer Service and field operations staff at all levels with shipment updates.
  • Is a critical communication and support link between SC and FO.
  • Ensures outbound shipment tracking is complete in all platforms supporting field operations.
  • Trains outbound logistics personnel on shipping system platforms.
  • Trains OCC and KW personnel on order fulfillment systems.
  • Updates schedule changes as requested by field operations.
  • Responsible to manage systems out put of operations schedules.
  • Works with SAP IT support to manage system out put to properly release schedule and order creation.
  • Supports KW / OCC operations with weekly On Time Delivery data and metrics.
  • Supports KW / OCC operations with weekly Inventory / cycle count data and metrics.
  • Maintain strong communications with transparency to all internal and external Supply Chain stakeholders.
  • Followers company, goals, cultural beliefs and company code of conduct.
  • Supports projects as needed.
  • Willingness to accept additional responsibilities and flexibility in daily activities.
  • Ability to support others and be a strong team member.

Education/Experience:

Requires general knowledge of corporate business systems.  Elevator manufacturing or installation experience preferred.

High School diploma / BS college equivalent preferred.

 

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and co-workers.

 

Math Ability:

Ability to work with general mathematical concepts.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

 

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Manufacturing System Software; SAP or other ERP, E-mail.

 

Certificates and Licenses:

No certifications needed.

 

Travel: 

Occasional visits to field operations and supporting Schindler operations.
