Manufacturing CNC Programmer
Your main responsibilities
A position that can dynamically program for CNC sheet metal manufacturing equipment based on daily customer requirements demands. Must be able to stay on schedule so that adequate work is always available for all machines. Work with the manufacturing team to maintain proper lead time for schedule of jobs to be completed. Include continues improvement / lean manufacturing techniques and processes to advance safety, quality, delivery and decrease cost into the products and facility.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Proficient use of OEM programming software for punching, bending and laser machines for daily production sheet metal manufacturing.
- Proficient in using all server-based software seats.
- Capable of daily production programming for all product lines.
- Capable of trouble shooting and correcting programming errors.
- Capable of setting up new material configurations, material types and material sizes.
- Capable of setting up new tools and head setups.
- Capable of configuring automated and manual programming settings per manufacturing processes.
- Use of OEM software for retrieving detailed production data and reporting out.
- Ability to multitask with different software packages.
