Field Distribution & Logistics Leader

Mobility is the goal

Lead and design warehouse & logistics network for efficient distribution of materials thru Field Operations.

Cover NI, MOD & EI product lines and reverse logistics.

  1. Evaluate Field Operations current & future network transformation requirements including organizational change management.
  2. Design large, medium, and small warehouse franchise models incorporating in safe working practices to promote a Safety-First culture.
  3. Develop strategy to define organic vs. 4PL logistics management.
  4. Manage existing & future 3PL relationships including network analysis, service level agreements & cost reduction activities.
  5. Manage EI & MOD existing warehouses.


Mobility needs you

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university and five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Masters Degree preferred.
  • Five or more years experience with warehousing and logistics functions
  • Knowledge of regulations and practices pertaining to safe storage and handling and distribution of materials
  • Proven knowledge of advanced Supply Chain practices and ability to strengthen and improve internal processes
  • Prior leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
  • American Production Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification a plus.
  • Past experience in determining planning requirements, inventory levels and procurement practices necessary to maintain a large number of parts with varying usage to satisfy required service levels for internal field service operations and for external customer orders, while minimizing the cost of materials and total investment in inventory.
  • Ability to manage global sourcing of parts purchases not managed by corporate purchasing function, necessary to satisfy short lead times for assembled, fabricated, repaired and vendor purchased part orders.
  • Written and verbal communication skills necessary to effectively manage materials planning requirements internally with engineering, production, supply chain, product line and field operation functions, and externally with vendors, subcontractors and customers.
