Electrical System Engineer (m/f/d) 80-100%

Are you ready to elevate your career with a global team at the forefront of HW & electrical system design? Join us in the R&D Smart Controls team in Locarno, where you will be working close to our electronic manufacturing production line, innovating and shaping the future of elevator systems.

 

As an Electrical System Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in defining and continuously upgrading elevator system concepts. This includes electrical interfaces, bus systems, architectures, and requirements engineering for new elevator systems.

Your main responsibilities

Your future challenges include:

  • Design & Specification: Prepare and coordinate electrical component specification according to market specification and support colleagues in R&D and Product Owners with data and technical expertise.
  • System Calculations: Provide electrical system calculations for energy flow and electrical interfaces.
  • Configuration Rules: Define, maintain, tests and validate elevator electrical system configuration rules.
  • Lifecycle ownership: Prepare, maintain, and update technical documents for new components, variants and parts according to change request tickets and project needs.
 

What you bring

You are a self-motivated and result-oriented, highly responsible, and reliable team player. Your process-oriented way of thinking is paired with your analytical way of working.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 3 years’ experience as electrical system expert/ preferably with prior know how on elevator components
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent in Italian and English, German is a plus
