Lead Component Architect (m/f/d) 80-100%

 

We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

In this role, you ensure and further improve quality of passenger related products and components of elevator systems by driving component architecture as part of an international, globally distributed software engineering team.

 

Your future challenges include:

  • Evaluating and specifying software architecture to drive future-proof solutions aligned with strategy and vision

  • Investigating and integrating commercial and open-source software via PoCs and prototype

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining core components and services for software products

  • Collaborating with engineers, supporting teams, guiding decisions, and ensuring quality through reviews and testing

  • Engaging in design, implementation, testing, documentation, and deployment stages

You foster an effective communication in an international organization and can lead by example.

 

  • Degree in computer science, electronics and/or software development
  • Extensive experience in software engineering
  • Proven experience with test automation, unit testing frameworks and software architecture
  • Demonstrated track record of technical leadership skills
  • Experience user of software technologies, design patterns, architecture evaluation, programming languages, documentation, software modeling, API management, estimation, risk management, supplier evaluation, and agile/lean practices
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux and Yocto, C++, Qt, JavaScript and HTM
  • Proficient level of English, additional language skills are a plus
