Technical Lead Controls Engineer (m/f/d)

Join our R&D Smart Controls team to expand your expertise, tackle exciting challenges, and work with cutting-edge tools and technologies. In this role, you will lead the technical development of controllers and modernization platforms, ensuring the best solutions are delivered alongside a skilled engineering team.

 

Your key responsabilities: 

  •  Preparing and coordinating design component specifications based on market needs while supporting product owners with data and technical expertise.
  • Owning the design with full life cycle responsibility and acting as the R&D advisor for technical queries, clarifications, analyses, and claims.
  • Maintaining and updating technical documentation, incorporating new components, variants, and parts in alignment with change requests and project requirements.
  • Preparing comprehensive code evidence reports while releasing and supporting test reports as their foundation.
  • Defining the technology roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders and supporting product owners throughout the product lifecycle.

You are a proactive and reliable leader with strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills. Your analytical mindset, clear communication, and stakeholder management abilities help you navigate complex technical challenges. You thrive in collaborative environments, influence key decisions, and take ownership with a structured, results-driven approach.

 

Further requirements may include: 

  • Master’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Proven technical leadership skills in an R&D or engineering environment.
  • Previous experience in electrical engineering, manufacturing, and systems integration of electrical and mechanical functions.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical assembly design and maintenance, including validation and testing.
  • Proven experience in preparing technical specifications and documentation.
  • Proficient level of English, other languages are a plus.
