Are you a seasoned technical expert ready to lead the future of elevator phygital products? Join our innovative Smart Controls team in Locarno, where you'll work on cutting-edge projects, close to our electronic manufacturing production line, and make a significant impact in the global market.
Your main responsibilities
As the Technical Lead Phygital, you'll be the mastermind behind the technical aspects of our elevator phygital products, including landing operating panels, car operating panels, and landing indication panels. You'll collaborate with engineers to devise the best solutions for various requirements and problems. Your role will encompass design, documentation, and lifecycle management, ensuring that our products meet market specifications and exceed customer expectations.
Your future challenges include:
- Component Specification: Prepare and coordinate design component specifications according to market needs and support the Product Owner with data and technical expertise.
- Design Ownership: Take responsibility for the design solution throughout its lifecycle, serving as the R&D entry gate for technical queries, including clarifications, analyses, and claims.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare, maintain, and update technical documents for new components, variants, and parts according to change requests, tickets, and project needs.
- Compliance Reporting: Prepare code evidence reports for different code zones and support test reports as the basis for these compliance reports.
- Technology Roadmap: Define the technology roadmap for components in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including passivation and phase-out of old product lines.
- Patent Support: Assist with patent inquiries and clarifications.
What you bring
You are a self-motivated and result-oriented, highly responsible, and reliable team player. Your process-oriented way of thinking is paired with your analytical way of working.
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic).
- At least 8 years of experience in relevant technical domains such as engineering, product design and development.
- At least 5 years of experience managing stakeholders in a complex matrix organization.
- Fluent in Italian and English, German is a plus
