Sr. Project Manager NI/MOD

Mobility is the goal

The Senior Project Manager/NI-MOD role provides management and direction of company's service activities and functions relating to sales, maintenance, and repair of products within the geographical area assigned for customer acceptance to achieve business plan objectives. Position Description:


  •  Develop and execute a customer service strategy to ensure positive service and satisfaction with modernization customers and drive MOD initiatives
  •  Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with key district new installation and modernization customers and influential industry consultants through personal contact and staff assignments.
  •  Develop and coordinate implementation of region operation's BDP program for service delivery cost improvement goals on each initiative.
  •  Administer service activities for parts inventory, company tools, vehicles and other fixed assets for most cost- effective results.
  •  Plan, schedule and assign workload requirements interfacing skill levels of field, marketing and administrative personnel to the needs of the company’s new installation and modernization operation through PMS job elements, activities and performance reviews.
  •  Develop and execute market plan to direct the sale and forecasting of new installation and modernization services for orders entered objective relating to price, volume, and market share across the various district load centers.
  •  Develop and recommend administrative, field and marketing service budgets and control expenditures within approved budget objectives.
  •  Initiate procedures and leadership practices to create a business environment for participative management; pro-active labor relations with local business agents; maintain high morale of subordinates and be strong, aggressive supporter of business unit's management philosophy and practices.
  •  Develop and execute yearly service business plan in support of the company’s operation's financial and non-financial objectives
  • Identifies opportunities through key customer contacts and industry information to locate sources for sale of company products and services. The District Service Sales and Operations Modernization Manager prepares documentation for prospective customers and ensures it is communicated appropriately. He/she is responsible for effectively managing the existing customer accounts while focusing on account growth
  • Negotiate contract terms favorable to company
  • Assist in all MOD communication including a quarterly newsletter and MOD Intranet owner

Mobility needs you

  • Required Education:

  • BA/BS Business / Management / Engineering preferred
  • Possess overall knowledge of product and product application; service techniques and procedures; ability to understand financial statements; legal awareness to contract terms and conditions.
  • Must have excellent communication (written and verbal), PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Previous Work Experience:

  • Five to seven years in various assignments within the Company, in the Elevator industry, or in another service oriented business.
  • Experience managing a small to medium sized P&L for an industrial company is a plus.
  • Prior sales and operations experience within the elevator industry with an emphasis on Modernization
  • Value stream mapping for MOD process, along with Digital Training and warranty management
  • This position is seated in Santa Barbara, CA.
