We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

As Global Category Manager Logistics you will join the dynamic Global Procurement Team to create value, by designing and implementing the state-of-the-art strategies to boost the overall value chain, create competitive advantage, and deliver cost savings.

 

Your new challenges include:

  • Establishing excellent strategic and business alignment by building strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and internal business partners

  • Shaping and continually refine the sourcing and subcategory strategy to align with overall business objectives and collaborate with the global category manager and regional procurement heads.

  • Tailoring logistic strategies to meet functional and local requirements, ensuring seamless implementation and operation.

  • Driving cost savings and process optimizations across logistics functions in partnership with regional procurement heads.

  • Developing and managing a strong category supplier base, including negotiations with subcategory suppliers.

  • Monitoring the logistics market, analyse pricing trends and risks, and report findings to inform strategic decisions.

Further requirements may include:

  • Master's degree in a technical or commercial major

  • Expertise in strategic and category sourcing within a multinational industrial environment

  • Extensive experience in international project management and change initiatives within complex matrix organizations

  • Track record of successful global logistics procurement, including freight and customs, with strong stakeholder relationship skills

  • Willingness to travel to a minimum of 10%

  • Business proficiency in English, other languages are a plus
