Overview

We are seeking a Area Director of NI Operations to join our New Installations team to manage the New Installations product line P&L. The Area Director of New Installations is responsible for the development of process improvement strategies resulting in increased efficiencies, innovative marketing approaches, and best demonstrated practices as well as planning and realizing the ultimate implementation of Schindler’s product lines.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Direct all aspects of the New Installation (NI) Operations business on the assigned region
  • Drive efficiencies and qualities of NI installations through improvements of tools, processes and people
  • Work in close collaboration with the Area Senior Vice President, Territory Vice Presidents and Territory Operations Managers to drive NI Operations in terms of volume and cost efficiencies
  • Create policies, recommendations on budgets and efficiency targets for the NI product lines
  • Improve operational efficiencies and streamline processes by reducing complexity while standardizing best-demonstrated practices through the entire Fulfillment Cycle
  • Ensure Fulfillment Processes are compliant within the area of responsibilities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Deliver documented and standardized Installation Methods, tools and training to Field Operations for all NI products
 

Mobility needs you

Basic Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience with increasing levels of responsibility in a big company, including at least 5 years of P&L responsibility
  • Field (IUEC) experience preferred
  • NI Operations experience / supervision is a must
  • General Management experience is preferred
  • Proven leadership skills involving managing, developing and motivating teams
  • Strong strategic and operations skills acumen, able to build effective team (both supervision and field)
  • Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills
  • BS, preferred in Engineering
  • MBA preferred
