Associate Mechanical Engineer R&D
Your main responsibilities
Develops and designs technical solution to fulfill agreed product and design specification applying state of the art engineering practice.
• Design, implement, and test components or systems for elevator products
• Support analysis of market or customer requirements and the preparation of design specifications
• Execute development as per defined project plans
- Evaluate technical feasibility of design concepts and development mechanical solution which fulfil specifications and reliability targets.
- Create 3D models and Drawings in PDM, and relevant documentation (technical documents, selection rules, proof of strength, calculation reports, etc) and SAP & engineering change release
- Support validation and testing of components and systems for elevator products.
- Perform Code analysis, cost analysis, tolerance analysis, configuration checks activities
- Support root cause analysis and resolution of product quality, process, and design issues in the field.
- Support design of manufacturability, installability, and maintainability.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Preferred related experience with prior direct management of employees
- Excellent Presentations Skills
- Able to successfully interface with Field Operation and demanding customers
