Manager, Strategic Corp Quality
Your main responsibilities
Manager, Strategic Corporate Quality is responsible for ensuring company policy, goals and objectives are met at all levels within the organization. Ensuring compliance to all Quality processes within the company while providing strategic leadership and recommendations for continual improvement based on a review of the overall management system performance. Takes the lead role in developing and implementing an effective Integrated Management System, blending Quality, Environment, Safety and other standards into a cohesive management system.
Essential Functions
- Provide strategic corporate leadership in partnership with supply chain quality to ensure compliance with all Quality processes within SEC.
- Lead SEC functional organizations in the transition of current documents into the new Document Management System to establish a formal and standard and ensure proper revision control across the business.
- Conduct Schindler Problem Solving Process (SPSP) and lead all technical aspects of an SPSP.
- Provide backup product governance for new product development to ensure that all new products are developed and released following the “Product Cycle Process (PCP)” and that respective quality and milestone reviews are done to the PCP requirements and framework.
- Provide leadership on the maintenance of ISO9001 certification status and the implementation of an integrated management system per corporate plan.
• Develop annual corporate audit program in alignment with the company’s Quality objectives, organizational risks, and a review of the quality management system.
• Act as Management Representative for SEC in managing and administering the ISO 9001 audit program and schedule and any implications with an integrated schedule of other relevant standards.
• Ensure all procedures are created/maintained by the respective owners in alignment with the quality / integrated management system(s).
• Ensure compliance to the internal corporate procedures, and to all regulatory and statutory requirements through the internal audit procedure.
• Issue Non-Conformances (NCs) for follow up and closure.
• Establish a formal process for Integrated Management System Management Review with top management highlighting performance metrics and opportunities for improvement. - Lead and facilitate product risk assessments (PRA) within Zone NA following the Schindler Group Risk policy and by fulfilling legal requirements. Ensure documentation consistency and proper archiving in Risk Management System (RMS) database
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for improvement in quality processes in alignment with the company’s quality policy. Implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness of processes.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project management and QRC teams.
- Develop and Lead an IMS throughout the Value Chain Organization
- Quality Process Execution (SPSP, ISO 9001 cert, etc)
- RA Moderation
- Continuous Improvement Opportunities / Projects
- New Product Development Quality
What you bring
- 7-10+ years of experience with performing audits and inspections, supporting compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
- Knowledge and expertise of various quality standards, requirements and obligations.
- Knowledge of regulatory program areas, including quality, safety and environment.
- BS/BE Degree in Engineering, or related technical field; Masters degree preferred
- Certified Professional Lead Auditor (CPLA).
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint, and must be willing to learn custom auditing software systems.
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred
- ISO auditor certification (9001 or other) required (Lead Auditor preferred)
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred
- Collaboration skills, Problem solving/analysis, General business acumen
- Strong understanding of management system implementation and management
- Excellent written and oral communication proficiency, Customer/client focus
- Decision making, Learning orientation, Personal effectiveness/credibility, Teamwork orientation, Technical capacity
- Travel approx. 25%

Base Salary $127,100 - $155,800
The above represents the typical salary range for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. Please note that the compensation listed reflects only base salary and does not include variable incentives or benefits. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on performance.
