Sr Manager Finance Slade

 

Your Skills

The Sr Finance Manager is responsible for corporate accounting & reporting, internal controls in financial reporting, monthly, quarterly and annual closings plus budget coordination & forecast submission, audits, and significant transaction and project support. financial planning and analysis. This includes budget, forecast, analysis & financial modelling. This individual should be analysis driven and a forward thinker able to turn ideas into actions with measurable results.

  • Lead monthly & quarterly financial closing (P&L, BS, Closing Statistics, Bank Reconciliation, Accruals, Work in Progress analysis, etc.), with support of external accountant.
  • Prepare and present fluctuation analysis on a monthly basis including presentations for Sr. Management and Parent Company.  Work with Leadership team to create corrective active items.
  • Oversee the full accounting team and optimize the billing and collections/bad debt mitigation processes.   
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop and consolidate annual overhead budget including setting guidance, resolving complex matters/transactions and management presentations.
  • Improve & maintain Department ownership for cost management actions.
  • Maintain company compliance and oversee Travel & Expense process including Policy changes and cost savings initiatives.
  • Together with HR & Department leads, develop headcount & cost of personnel guidance and tracking.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing Organization & Human Resources to identify & drive cost savings & process improvement.
  • Lead and manage finance-related projects for both Parent Company & local initiatives.
  • Provide FP&A support to the leadership & product line teams and develop new forecasting & analysis solutions/methods.
  • Ownership of the ERP system and maintaining data accuracy.
 

Your Experience

Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting, Masters degree a plus.

Construction industry experiencerequired.

Public Accounting (Big 4 or other international firm).

FP&A and/or Corporate Accounting.

Construction industry a must.

SAP or other major ERP.

Data analysis solutions (Excel. Qlliksense, MS PowerBI, Anaplan, Tableu, etc.)
