Your main responsibilities

Position Overview

 

The incumbent is responsible for implementation of Total Rewards processes for Schindler India in alignment with the Global C&B Policies of Schindler Group.


Job Responsibilities

 

  • Conducts regular market surveys analysis and external benchmarking to compensate employees at the relevant market level and to ensure it is competitive and correct positioning.
  • Lead the planning and administration of annual salary review, salary increments and payouts in line with the budget.
  • Conduct/ Update Job Grading and Evaluation: Ensure all positions are graded and aligned with Schindler Group and local market conditions to ensure compensation levels are around the defined market level.
  • Lead the preparation of annual HR budget along with manpower planning and closely monitor the same to meet the Cost and Quality objectives of the company.
  • Lead the design and implementation of total rewards programs resulting in significant and long-term changes to the company's compensation offerings and policies ensuring optimal budget utilization and competitiveness.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert to Finance and Business HR teams, as needed in all aspects of compensation design, planning and administration.
  • Benchmarks Benefits in context of existing and new policies & practices and recommend changes.
  • Manage Global Mobility assignments in collaboration with Schindler Global Rewards & India HR and Finance
  • Custodian of all policies and also lead the HR technology landscape, framework and efficiency enabling a seamless employee experience and management of processes

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of compensation & benefits design and implementation
  • Knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliances
  • High order of analytical ability, detail orientation and comfort with numbers
  • Ability to effectively interface with multiple stakeholders.
  • Maintain employee confidence and protects compensation operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and towards tight deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent MS Office Suite skills (specifically Advanced Excel)
 

What you bring

Required Experience:

  • 10-15 years of overall experience in HR is desirable and minimum 5-7 years in compensation & benefits.
  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in human resources or other related field degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field
  • Experience in HR Technology design and implementation.
  • Demonstrated application of C&B processes, policies, and employee benefits
  • Previous experience in multi-national organization
