Associate Project Manager - Large Projects
Your main responsibilities
- Lead commodity projects through financial award and into execution
- Manage project transitions from award → engineering → supply chain
- Partner with Project Managers throughout engineering and procurement, proactively addressing risks and concerns
- Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement through documented best practices and lessons learned
- Oversee and maintain the national installation resource schedule for major projects
- Manage major project assets, including installation tools and project-specific equipment
Qualifications / Experience:
- Proven experience with quotation management, Cadre, and major project costing
- Strong resource planning capabilities
- Ability to support and contribute to major project sales efforts as needed
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or similar a plus
- 2+ years of experience supporting major construction projects
- Working knowledge of elevator systems (application engineering preferred)
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams, including indirect reporting structures
- Background in construction project cost forecasting and financial tracking
Skills:
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Solid business acumen and ability to manage internal processes
- Experience with project management and resource/capacity planning
- Advanced Microsoft Excel required; proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and SAP
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders across all levels
- Strong team orientation with the ability to build positive, collaborative relationship
- Willingness to travel domestically (10–15%)
Base Salary $90,300 - $112,900
The above represents the typical salary range for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. Please note that the compensation listed reflects only base salary and does not include commissions or longer-term incentives.
