General Manager

 

Your main responsibilities

  • Lead regional service, repair, maintenance, retention, recovery, modernization, and NI support activities with full P&L accountability
  • Develop and execute annual business plans and budgets aligned to financial, operational, and quality objectives
  • Drive a customer-focused strategy to deliver high-quality service, grow loyalty, and reduce cancellations
  • Oversee modernization sales and operations and serve as the local point of support for New Installations resources and performance
  • Ensure strong safety, quality, and technical training execution in partnership with Field Quality Excellence
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers and industry consultants to grow portfolio value and unit count
  • Lead, develop, and performance-manage teams to achieve KPIs through effective workforce planning and engagement
  • Manage assets, working capital, billing, legal interfaces, and process compliance to drive cost-effective operations
 

What you bring

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred; bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Engineering, or related field required
  • 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in the elevator industry or comparable service business, including full P&L ownership
  • Deep expertise in products, applications, installation and service operations, financial performance, and contract management
  • Proven ability to allocate and optimize human and financial resources to drive quality, reliability, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Strong strategic acumen to assess market dynamics, pricing, coverage, new products, and competitive activity and adjust direction accordingly
  • Demonstrated executive presence with the credibility, confidence, and influence to lead teams and engage customers, labor, and external partners
