Sr. Executive/ Assistant Manager - Codes & Standards

 

Your main responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:    
       
Regularly monitor Codes & Standards updates or amendments released by BIS or specific Sates of India.  
Implement National or State specific C&S by providing necessary information to Group C&S, Local CR&D, Product Management Team, Supply Chain, Application Engineering, MDC & Quality team to ensure code compliance and minimize business impact.  
Develop Code assessments/comparisons for published/released standards.  
Support Group Code Officer, National Code Advisor & other functions within KG on fulfilment of Codes and Standards requirements and interpretations.  
Work with Local, National & International C&S organizations by participating and aligning Schindler’s C&S strategies, and vice versa.  
Work with R&D on creation and review of code compliance documentation.  
Develop processes and methods for efficient communication and confirmation of code compliance of new and existing products.  
Develop knowledge and skills in C&S by conducting training sessions for Cross-functional teams.  
Conduct trainings for Regional & Branch representatives to develop their understanding/expertise in C&S, so as to reduce dependency on HO team.  
 

What you bring

Experience Either fresher or 3~5 years experience in Elevator Industry
Knowledge, Skills and Languages Good convincing skills
Excellent communicator
High energy level, patience and perseverance
Cross-cultural experience and sensitivity
Excellent analytical and interpretation skills
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a highly dynamic environment
  Eye for details and multiple dimensions
Education Degree in Engineering - Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation 
Reporting To GM-Product Safety
