Sr Engineer (Electrical)

The Senior Engineer creates value through • Support and lead actively and successfully global development activities within the technical function

  • Project lead for cross-functional projects / tasks
  • Support actively the project management organization at cross-functional project / tasks
  • Take over the technical responsibility for assigned products
  • Technical lead of small teams
  • Support all activities to become a knowledge-based company
  • Support a positive and innovative climate for development, referring to best demonstrated practice
  • Positively influence others by using an open and constructive dialogue
  • Lead system testing activities for traction elevators on various product lines
  • Carry out root cause analysis and determine the corrective action
  • Perform technical analysis of electrical control system components; PORT, EMP, Fire Status Panel
  • Experience working on electrical control systems that contain multiple components interacting (i.e. motors, sensors, circuit boards)
  • Comfortable working on elevator car tops, hoistways and machine rooms following elevator safety rules
  • Agile SW and automated testing experience is preferred
  • Apply R&D Organizational Norms(ONs) and A17.1 standards 
  • Experience in writing test specifications is preferred
  • Good understanding of International Building Code and National Electrical Codes
  • Positively influence others by using an open and constructive dialogue
  • Support a positive and innovative climate for testing, referring to best demonstrated practice
  • Communication Skills (Verbal and Email) - Communicate technical issues effectively
 

Mobility needs you

  • 7 years or more experience in Engineering 
  • MS Project / MS Project Server, CAD / CAE, SAP, MS Office, Lotus Notes
  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent

  • 5-10 years of experience in related field
