Warehouse Associate

 

Your Skills

Requirements:

  • Handle and move material as required in the various stages of inspection, counting, pre-packaging, shelf distribution, holding areas and shipping.
  • Maneuvers the truck, forklifts and other mechanical material handling equipment.
  • Assemble parts for various storeroom locations using parts order shipping lists to identify quantity and storeroom locations.
  • Generally, assemble several orders concurrently.
  • Expedite emergency orders when required.
  • Follow and record receipts of purchase and factory restocking orders following established procedures.
  • Make proper entries to the open stock order record and other appropriated records, documents, and listings.
  • Prepare documents used for shipping and assure proper and timely distribution in accordance with established procedure.
  • Consolidate orders to same location.
  • Prepare pre-packaging labels for packaging identification.
  • Prepare and plan identification labels and bar coding.
  • Accomplish and verify physical count of items received
 

Your Experience

Tasks:

  • Minimum work experience required including any specific job- related experience and years of experience, which would serve as acceptable pre-requisites.
  • Successfully held warehouse position 6 months - 1 year
