Portfolio Sales Professional
Your main responsibilities
The Portfolio Sales Professional role is based in the respective region, as outlined above, is responsible for managing a variety of existing accounts and developing new ones within the BC region. You will be tasked with securing profitability recoveries and growth in portfolio. This includes maintaining and building a strong relationship with existing and potential new clients and to help achieve this you will need to work closely with our operational teams. You will have personal targets to manage and ensure they are achieved. We are looking for a dynamic individual who brings with them market knowledge and the tenacity to develop existing accounts, proactive account management and also able to secure new business opportunities. You will also be responsible for the growth of our Digital Services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers, acting as their primary contact for service needs and contract discussions.
- Understand each customer’s site, operations, and priorities to tailor maintenance and service solutions that improve safety, uptime, and building performance.
- Proactively protect and grow the service portfolio by renewing contracts, extending terms, and identifying opportunities for additional services.
- Convert new installations and expiring warranties into ongoing maintenance agreements by clearly communicating service value and lifecycle benefits.
- Promote and upsell digital and value-added services (remote monitoring, inspections, upgrades) that enhance reliability and customer peace of mind.
- Conduct regular customer visits, reviews, and presentations to discuss performance, address concerns, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and collaborate with service operations and field technicians to resolve issues and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Work closely with internal teams to prepare service proposals, quotations, and tenders that align with customer needs and company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and reporting tools, keeping account status, activities, and opportunities up to date.
- Monitor contract performance, cancellations, and feedback, and take action to retain customers and improve satisfaction.
- Represent the company’s values and safety culture in all customer interactions, promoting trust and long-term partnership.
What you bring
- Customer service, sales, or account management experience
- Interest in learning about the industry (experience is a bonus, but not required)
- Demonstrated record of identifying new business and developing pipeline
- Ability to develop a strong long-term sales pipeline
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A self-starter with strong business acumen
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Experience working with SAP and CRMs would be advantageous
- Driver's licence and willingness to travel
