Order Consolidation & Inventory Manager

 

Your Skills

This role is to implement the right processes and practices across the Order and Consolidation Department (O.C.C.) within the York Elevator Consolidation HUB (E.C.H.). Specific duties of this role include formulating strategy, improving performance, overseeing the department, and ensuring the primary areas of operations, Safety, Quality, and Business Results are met while securing compliance. In addition, this role will oversee the Inventory Accuracy and controls of all stock goods, as well as, completed goods with the York ECH. 

 

  • Create and maintain a safety and health culture and awareness within the SC-SEC at all levels always keeping on safety the highest attention.
  • Directs and manages the Company’s assets and personnel to ensure a balance of Safety, Quality and Cost within the operation without sacrificing one for another.
  • Develops and implements Group Organizational Norms and best practices in the Consolidation Center through defined processes outlined in Work Instructions. 
  • Maintain proper resources, material flow, and efficient, effective Labor utilization.  Instruct and develop subordinates to readily identify and take corrective measures concerning inefficiencies in all aspects of the process
  • Establishes and measures KPIs and drives performance for on-time in-full delivery, warehouse management system, picking lane efficiencies, assembly of last-minute configuration of parts, overall product quality, and workforce planning requirements.
  • Compiles data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts, and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements.
  • Investigates root cause for problem reconciliation and leads corrective action for claims/complaints related to kitting configuration of finished product.
  • Maintain high level of organization within department considering 5’s principles
  • Maintain high level of Inventory Accuracy within WMS & Lead Audits as required
  • Create detailed reports for Adjustments, Inventory Operations, & Audit Tracking
  • Supports corporate goals and initiatives by leading local activities designed to ensure employees safety which include Safety Audits, Safety Orientations, Training, developing Safety Objectives, as well as continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establish actions to address E&O in coordination with Finance and SIOP Teams.
  • Provide leadership and direction to Facilitators & Hourly associates with emphasis on mentoring, training, and developing. 
  • Deploy Level II & Level III initiatives that support overall Supply Chain Strategic Framework & Growth.
 

Your Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree

 

Other Special Reuirements:

  • Prior experience with SAP WMS
  • Prior experience with Management
  • Strong knowledge of transportation processes and their interfaces with other business functions: production, warehousing and procurement

Functional/Technical Expertise:

  • Inventory Management and/or Supply Chain required
